The Den
The Den located in the basement is more of an activity room than a meeting room, though if used as a meeting room, it could comfortably accommodate 40 people. It is L-shaped, with a small kitchen equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, which connects to it through a serving hatch. As this is used as an activity room, there is not much furniture in it. Hirers proposing to use this as a meeting room should allow extra time to bring chairs into the room before the meeting, and take them away again at the end. Additionally, the only access to the basement level is via stairs, so if the visitors are likely to include people in wheelchairs, this room is less suitable than the others.
